Bajs!!!!

Denna dag, viken dag. Sprang hela morgonen och betalade extra skatt till greklands ekonomi, hyra och räkningar. Sedan var det dags att hämta kattmat och till vetrinären med den nya katten som följde med från soptippen hem till mig.

Spria leker med dom andra kattungarna och mår bra. Några vändor till vetrinären och sedan ska det vara bra.

Igår så skrattade jag så att jag tjöt. En av de 3 vita kattungarna som jag inte har något namn på än, hade tagit sig upp på övervåningen och började mjaua. Tänkte att det hade hänt något men när jag kom upp hade hon bara gått vilse och känt sig ensam. När hon såg mig så sprang hon till mig och följde med ner.

okay huset är inte så stort så att man kan gå vilse eller hitta tillbaka. Men hon kanske har lite dåligt lokalsinne.

Jag behöver 3 namn. 2 pojk namn och flick namn. Några förslag...

I måndags var jag ute och städa utanför min trädgård för att det såg förjäkligt ut. Folk bara slänger ut saker från bilen. Jag hittade allt, plastpåsar, matlådor kaffe muggar ,massor av papper och så till sist någon Person (FOLK) har pajsat vid min mur och torkat sig och lämnat detta.

Nu ska ni veta att utanför min trädgård är det en stor parkering och allmän plats. Men det behöver inte betyda att man har rätt att skita där.  Fy fan!!!!!

Tur att man är vad vid kattskit i alla fall!!! ;-)

Veckan och helgen som har gått!!!

Det har varit hektiskt som vanligt med arbete och hem. Katterna och hemmet går först. Jag bor i gamla och just nu så är det ganska tomt här inne förutom när båtarna kommer. Då öppnas alla butiker på Sockrates gatan. Huvudgatan i gamla stan. Men när turisterna är borta så är det mesta stängt under dagtid. Gamla stan får lite liv under helgen och kvällarna då nattklubbarna öppnar.

Det som märks också är att katterna vågar komma ut och söker sig efter mat. Hamnar oftas vid soptippen. Där hittade jag denna katt som for illa. Efter en timmes jagande fick jag tag på henne och lyckades ta henne till vetrinären.


(Spira) som jag kallar henne hade traslat sin fot i ett snöre. Det såg inte ut att hon hade ont men det gjorde ont när vi tog bort snöret från tassen. Hon fick stanna under natten för att få antibiotika samt att jag skulle jobba nästa dag och skulle inte hinna ta henne till Marika nästa dag. Idag var vi igen hos Marika för att ta bort skorpan samt

sperja om hennes tass. Just nu ser den ut som på bilden men inte lika stor. svulnaden har gått ner lite grann. Just nu ligger hon i gungstolen och vilar. Hon kommer överrens med alla andra katter och är väldigt tyst av sig.

Nu är det färdigt städat, diskat, ordnat med matlådor samt dags att få lite lung och ro.

Julpynt har jag inte hunnit med ännu. Men jag hoppas att det blir till nästa advent.

Nytt utseende och Svenska!!!

Jag har bestämt mig nu att bara skriva på svenska från och med nu. Jag har varit väldigt velig på hur jag ska skriva och på vilket språk. Men jag vet att det finns google translate om man vill ha det på engelska eller ett annat språk.


Det har varit väldigt mycket katter under helgen och förra veckan. Kommer massor av hemska bilder och fina bilder.

Dewey!!!!

About 2 weeks ago I finished a book about Dewey Readmore Books. It’s was given to me as a present from a very good friend.

How a cat can change life for so many people. It was easy to read and so sad. It was really good. I would recommend it to anybody.  So now I have a new name for one of my cats. Dewey!!!!!

I found him at the garbage place not able to walk. He was crawling. I understood that he was poisoned as it was the season for it. I grabbed him took him home and to the vet. He stayed there for the whole day and I picked him up in the evening.

It was about 3-4 weeks ago. Since then he have been at my place but I so afraid of me. He stayed around and been in the garden only sometime. Every time that I wanted to touch him he would run out or hide somewhere. But today for the first time I could touch him without him running away. That feeling that you get when a cat trust you. WOW!!!!

Amazing. He looks like Dewey and that his name.

Life and Death

It has been a struggle between life and death and death won this time. Two of the kittens that I found, one on the roof that was really bad and the other one at the garbage died in the house. I tried to do my outmost but when you are not able to watch over them whole day dose things happen. I will miss both of them. Especially the one with broken leg. What we found out was that it was the nerves that was dead and he would go with his leg like that his whole life.

Lots of kittens have this germs and infections and they just die. It’s starts with diarrhea and then with in some hours they are dying and you can’t do anything.

But another kitten little bit bigger have moved in and hanging around Jasmine. She is a lovely mother to any kittens. But I can’t touch her or get hold of her. But she stays in the house most of the time.

During the weekend it have been cleaning and fixing things in the house and for the cats.  Now they have a room for them so a picture will come. Right now is only Elvira and Spot that are staying in the room but hope that the other cats will join them soon. Right now they love the living room.

I also had another cat friend and helper down here in Rhodes come by with tips for cheap food and we will help little bit each other.

Kittens Kittens Kittens

My days are flying by, I’m like a housewife/mom.

My mornings starts with putting coffee on and then feeding the hungry family. 18 bowls to fill up with wet food and 7 with dry food. Empty the cat box and then the coffee is ready. Some RIX morgon ZOO and Aftonbladet. Then some breakfast before going to work.

Before that also giving some off the new kids medicine for all kind of stuff.

Working!!!

Back from work start with feeding the cats again. Then some more medicine before taking one back to the vet for a shot.

Back home make some dinner and then time for cleaning the house and the cat toilets.

When all cats sleeping it time for little bit of me time. Not much but some.

Then to bed and same thing tomorrow.

I had a story from last week about a dying kitten that was found on a roof garden at my neighbor’s house, (a pension/hotel).

They are Greeks and don’t do anything for the cats around here.

One of the owner came to my house knocking on my door and asking if I could come and look on the kitten. He was laying there dying. He was full of mosquito worms eating him alive. Coming out of the eyes and all over the fur. I took him home and started to clean him before I could take him to the vet. The worst was gone so I thought but more was to come.

I came to the vet and Haroula took us in and she showed me that he still was full of worms. Under the eyes underneath the skin. Also under the fur and we had to cut away a lot. He hardly moved at all but still breathing. His temperature was only 32 Celsius and a cat should have 37. He was shacking. So we gave him a warm bath and then dry him with a hair dryer. Swept him in a towel and took him home. Took out my eclectic blanket and laid him on that for a whole night.

Back to the vet next morning to check him out. The temperature was at 37. He had opened his beautiful blue eyes and looked at us. But still could not move or walk. Something wrong with him. Both front legs did not look good.

Now a week later he is moving little bit.

Back!!!

It has been a long time that I have been writing something on the blog. It's been a brain freeze for me like when you drink an ice cold slurpy to fast.

I have had a week of and working in the garden and outside my house little bit but most of all I have spent time with my cats and taking care of them.

There have been lots of sick cats and some new ones at that.

I have 8 kittens now that need full attention and medicine. So after work I have been to the vet and spent there one or two hours, 2 times every day. Now that I’m back at work also I can only go ones a day. .

But now they are getting better.

So back on my feet again and time for some writing
